12TH ANNUAL LAWINEFEST RETURNS JUNE 17TH AND 18TH, AT ROW DTLA
Mark your calendars and prepare to immerse yourself in all things wine and beer at the LAWineFest, on June 17 and 18, 2017. This year we'll exhibit, sip and explore at the very cool ROW DTLA, 777 S. Alameda St. The new event location, headed to be the next big destination in downtown LA, is a beautiful blend of artsy and urban, and offers plenty of parking. When you add award-winning wines, artisan beers and ciders, shopping, and tasty food curated by Smorgasburg LA, you've got an excellent way to enjoy a weekend in LosMAngeles.
LA's "Signature Celebration of all Things Wine" attracts thousands of attendees
annually. Guest savor and discover flavors from around the world, whether a
buttery chardonnay, fruity Zinfandel, or an ice cold innovative craft beer made in
DTLA. For wine aficionados who want to experience small-batch pours from
boutique wineries, there will be a limited number of daily tickets for these
unique, exciting tastings. For those who love beer, we’ve got you covered too!
Now in its 12th year, the event blazed a trail in L.A. to bring wine and people
together, while delivering an event that balances fun, exploration and education.
In the spirit of exploration, each day will comprise of tastings, flights, and
presentations. Wine makers and reps are eager to chat. Toggle between wine
and beer as our brewers take their place side by side in crafting with as much
care as the winemakers.
And, it's not just about wine and beer. Fest goers will love the exciting food truck
vendors curated by Smorgasburg LA. Food trucks are a true phenomenon of
intense gourmet meals prepared on the spot. While sipping, savoring, and
strolling, attendees will be able to shop for unique, one-of-a-kind items offered
from artesian boutiques exhibitors.
LAWineFest will donate a portion of the event proceeds to Sunshine Kids. This
non-profit organization is dedicated to providing activities, trips and events to
young people diagnosed with cancer. Event sponsors include ROW DTLA, Los
Angeles Magazine, La Brea Bakery, Icelandic Glacial, Tasting Panel Magazine,
Somm Journal Magazine, Tossware, and Pasquini Coffee.
Admission to LAWineFest includes commemorative glass, beverage sampling,
bottled water, coffee and bread. Designated drivers are encouraged and receive
significantly discounted admission. Festival hours are: Saturday 2pm to 6pm, and
Sunday 1pm to 5pm. Tickets are $90 per day, $125 (which includes boutique
tasting), and $25 for designated drivers.
